Ashley Netzband, Publicist with Bay Bird Inc PR, is a Cum Laude graduate of San Diego State University who brings with her widespread experience in marketing and public relations.

Ashley officially began her PR career in Arizona through an internship with the Banners Alzheimer’s Institute in Phoenix, which eventually led her to The Lavidge Company, a leading Phoenix-based agency where she worked with automotive industry leaders Discount Tire and NASCAR, as well as one of the largest healthcare leaders in the state of Arizona, Banner Health. The hospitality industry is also one where Ashley flourished, having the opportunity to work with clients such as Quivira Los Cabos, the Arizona Grand Resort, Massage Envy, the national Massage for the Cure campaign and several well-known restaurants in the Phoenix/ Scottsdale area. Ashley also has direct experience with special events and non-profit fundraisers through her work with Celebrity Fight Night, Outrun the FBI 5K, Scottsdale Healthcare’s Honor Ball and many more. Her varied experience has allowed her to work closely with media outlets including Affluent Magazine, Elite Traveler, Golf Magazine, The New York Times, 944 Magazine (Phoenix), The Arizona Republic, the San Francisco Chronicle and the Phoenix Business Journal. Ashley also spent time working internationally in viral and event marketing in Paris, France with a successful nightclub brand near the Champs-Elysee.

Ashley relocated to Los Angeles in 2009 and served as public relations strategist for an international production company where she worked in partnership with clients who ranged from high-profile entertainers to global agricultural management firms. She also gained valuable hands-on experience with a Los Angeles-based e-commerce surf company and was responsible for facilitating behind-the-scenes photo shoots with some of the most respected and well-known surf brands in the industry including: Roxy, Billabong, Quicksilver and Hurley. Ashley’s background in the communications and e-commerce industries allowed her to segue into an assistantship with noted American women’s fashion apparel designer, Cynthia Vincent of Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent.

With Bay Bird Inc PR, Ashley continues to build on her multiple areas of expertise.
